20 Ideas - How To Switch Up Your Routine

Who’s happy that it’s finally Friday?! 🎉 I know I am! I grabbed a coffee on my way home from work and am ready to get the weekend started! ☕ Today I wanted to share with you all different ideas on how you could switch up your day to day routines. I’ve had this idea for a little while and have been accumulating different ideas. I have come up with 20 different ideas that you could implement into your daily routine to give yourself a little bit of a fresher routine - which personally I love doing! In my “10 Tips to Get Over Winter Blues” blog post I mentioned that switching up your routine could help give you that little bit of change you have been looking for - I thought it would be a great idea to give you guy some unique things to try. Each day or every couple of days try something new or swap out something and you will love it, I promise!


Let’s get into the ideas!


1. Swap TV with reading a book

2. Try journaling - there are a bunch of journaling ideas on Pinterest if you need some inspo!

3. Day/Night off of social media

4. Do something spontaneous

5. Change up your workouts & try something new - yoga/new exercise moves

6. Get outside - go for a walk to clear your head

7. Pick up a new hobby to start/try

8. Try a class (workout, art, educational, baking, etc.)

9. Add something new into your morning/night routine ex: face mask, stretching routine, meditation

10. Try cooking a new recipe

11. Go somewhere you haven’t been before

12. Try a new coffee shop/food spot or even try a different order from your fave place

13. Meet up with an old friend(s)

14. Take a drive

15. Deep clean your room: de-clutter, reorganize

16. Donate clothes/items you don’t wear/use anymore

17. Make a new music playlist

18. Plan a fun trip or plan out your week ahead

19. Make a bucket list or write down some goals you want to accomplish

20. Share something inspirational with others
