HAPPY 2019!!✨ Hoping that everyone's year is off to a great start. Now that the New Year has hit, it is time to write out all of our goals/resolutions to work towards throughout the year. This is something that I have always done and I find it to be very motivational to really sit down and figure out what you want to achieve during the year as well as what you want to continue doing in the new year.
One new thing that I wanted to do this year was select a word that would set the tone for the rest of the year. It took some searching and thinking but I finally got it: UNSTOPPABLE 💖
What is your word of the year going to be? Let me know in the comments!
Things that I want to continue doing:
- Keep doing things that make me genuinely happy
- Keep drinking LOTS of water
- Keep working hard
- Keep growing as a person
- Keep growing within my relationship
- Keep having fun in this life of mine
- Keep knowing my worth and understand that not everyone will understand my choices
- Keep learning
Things that I want to achieve/try this year:
- Find a workout I enjoy & stick to a healthy lifestyle
- Try yoga
- Cook more, try new recipes & eat healthier overall
- Try learning a new skill (ex:calligraphy/handwriting)
- Read more books & learn about more new things
- Get outside more ~ hiking, exploring, farmers markets
- Blog schedule: become more consistent & work harder for you guys!!
- "Unplug" more often
- Stick to a schedule ~ morning routine, night routine
- Self Care, take more time for myself and take care of me for me
- Complete a Savings Challenge
- Try Journaling
- Remember tomorrow is always another day
Now, I know it seems like a long list to keep up with. One way that I like to make sure I am continuously working on obtaining these goals is to write them down somewhere that I will see them everyday. For me that is having them in my planner and also having a designated notebook for all of them as well. I am someone that strives off of having things to work towards and work hard for and I find even on my "bad" days, just doing simple things towards these goals can pick me back up.
It's easy, grab a pen and some paper and get to writing down what you want most out of your life and how you plan on becoming your best self. Hopefully these goals of mine help you create your own list for 2019 and inspire you to shoot for the stars!✨
Until next time,
Michelle Elizabeth 💖
