A Little Bit About Me

Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog! 💕 How has everyone been?!

Today I wanted to share this post with you all so you can learn a little bit more about me and what my life is like in just 20 questions! It is nothing super crazy but hopefully you all think this is somewhat interesting (my life really isn't anything exciting, hahah). I'm hoping this allows us to connect a little bit more on a personal level and brings us closer in this little community we have going on! If we have anything in common let me know down in the comments what it is or even just tell me a little bit about you! 😊

1. How old are you? Currently 21, turning 22 on May 27th!

2. What’s your favorite book? Ok, this is tough because I have a bunch! I’ll name a few of my faves: “Girl, Wash Your Face”, anything by Natasha Preston (scary, edge of your seat kind of books that you can not put down after you start reading!) & The Girl’s Guide (SO much good info in this book on any topic you could imagine).

3. What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Strawberry, cheesecake ice-cream, or anything with peanut butter! Let’s be real.. I just like every kind hahah

4. What are your 3 favorite movies? This one is hard too! I have so many favorites but here are some of my top movies I have watched & continue to watch on repeat..

5. Coffee order? Caramel Iced-Coffee w/ cream & sugar or a caramel cold brew!

6. What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been? Alexandria Bay 1000 Islands, NY

7. What is your college degree in? Business Management/Administration

8. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

1. Why are you following me around everywhere? Do you really think I am that interesting?

2. Do you actually like your food?

3. What toy is really your favorite?

9. When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better? Get a coffee, buy some flowers, spend time with my love, journal/read

10. Who is the kindest person you know? My mother💕

11. Who’s your celebrity crush? Jake Johnson 😍

12. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Most likely somewhere tropical, getting to a beach in my lifetime is a bucket list item for sure 🏝☀️🌊

13. If you could shop for free at one store, which would you choose? TJMaxx or Marshalls 🛍

14. What’s your favorite day of the week? Friday-Sunday (let’s be real they go by so quickly it feels like only one day, amirite?!)

15. Do you have any pets? I do! I have a little shih-tzu named Ozzie. He just turned a year old on New Years Eve & he is by far the cutest & most loving little guy ever. I had to throw in a picture for you guys, because I mean.. just look at him!

16. Who would play you in a movie about your life? Zooey Deschanel, I mainly say this because her character in New Girl (which you need to watch if you have not yet) is basically me in real life, hahha.

17. What is one thing about you that some people might not know? I am actually a Type 1 Diabetic! No, not the one that happens because you “eat too much sugar” haha. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which your pancreas stops working - this is a very vague definition but basically my body does not produce insulin anymore. Due to this disease I wear an insulin pump 24/7 and check my blood sugar numerous times a day to make sure that I am doing fine throughout my day. I am someone that solely believes that this disease does not stop me from doing anything that I love or want to try. It is a huge part of my life but it just makes me .. well more “me”! Blog post is in the works telling you all about my story, diagnosis & everything in between!

18. Are you in a relationship? Yes, I am. This month it will be five years with my bf! I met him when I was in 11th grade, he was in his first year of college! The first year of our relationship was actually long distance as he was in OH and I was back home in NY but we’ve been by each others sides ever since.💕 I will be writing a blog post soon all about our relationship together if you are interested in hearing all the gushy lovey stuff ;-)

19. What inspired you to become a blogger? Honestly I have always been someone that loves to write & that is kind of where it all started. I finally said today is the day back in August of 2018 and sat down to make a website and started writing. Today, the community of blogging is what inspires me the most. Even though I am still a newbie I have made some great friends through blogging/Instagram and love chatting & sharing what I love with you all!

20. Favorite kind of music & fave artist at the time? Country - 1. Dan & Shay (just seen them in concert in December and omgggg, I loved them before and now I can’t stop listening to them even more!)
