How To Stay Motivated

Happy almost Valentine’s Day, everyone!!💕Today I wanted to share with you all some different things that I do in order to stay motivated or get back on track to a healthy, motivated mindset. In this crazy world in which we live in I find that sometimes I tend to get unmotivated or stuck in a rut. I’m sure that most of you feel or have felt this way before too. Though sometimes it may be unavoidable, I thought that it would be helpful to some of you to share the ways that I try to lift myself up during these times. Now for me, motivation is something that keeps me going and working hard - for example: in daily life, my blog/social media presence, relationships and even the goals that I set for myself.
One thing I wanted to mention is that not everyday will be perfect. Some days I wake up and the day is just “one of those days” where I really do not feel motivated or like doing much. THAT IS OKAY! Give yourself that day of feeling off and try to focus and understand why you are feeling that way - journal, take time for yourself, do something you love and get back on track.
Let’s get to the tips & tricks I have:
- Keep track of goals & make sure to consistently work towards them. What I like to do is set aside time to check in monthly & weekly on how I am making progress on my goals or even to do's.đź–‹This helps me stay on top of what I want to achieve and to keep it obtainable.
- Create a schedule to stick to that works for you. One that allows you to take time for yourself, work towards goals and be productive as well. By creating this schedule you are making sure that you are being the best you possible while also putting forth your best work.
- Have a support system. Family, friends, online friends even! Have people that you can talk to about how you feel and they will pick you back up if you are ever questioning yourself.
- Believe in yourself! đź’« This speaks for itself, you can achieve whatever you put your mind to - always remember that! đź’•
- Do things for yourself. take care of you in order to be the best you possible. This goes along with creating a schedule, so schedule in some you-time! 🧖‍♀️💆‍♀️
- Journal on the daily. Write what your day was like and what you worked towards! A little added touch is to write down favorite quotes that you can look back on when you need some extra motivation or a pick-me-up.
- Remember why you started.đź’« You started for a reason! Remind yourself of that reason - probably one of the easiest yet most motivating thing you could do.
- Look back at what you have accomplished. No matter how little or how much, anything is a start!
- Follow those who motivate & inspire you! I do this on Instagram and other social media platforms. Don't follow those who are focused on views or what other people think of them - follow those who are sharing genuine things that they love and ones who are inspiring and working hard just like you.
I'm hoping that these tips help you help you become the most motivated that you could be. If you are ever in the spot where you are feeling down, take the time like I mentioned before and let yourself ride it out. Not everyday will be perfect but what is most important is that you can get through it and tomorrow is always another day. 💫🌸
