Ahhhh HELLO everyone!! 💛 I'm sorry I've been pretty much MIA for the past month.. things always get so crazy when summertime hits. But I hope everyone had a great 4th of July & has settled into summertime! 🌞

So, the other day I did a poll over in my Instagram & asked what you guys wanted to see next on the blog & you all chose a 'Summer Reading List'! So, here I am & I'm so excited to share with you my reading list for this Summer.

Books I Want To Re-Read/Keep Reading:

1. “The Summer I Turned Pretty”, “It’s Not Summer Without You”& “We’ll Always Have Summer” all written by Jenny Han. When I was a little but younger, I was obsessed with this series! They were the perfect summertime read - set on the beach, on summer vaca & tells the story of a perfect romance. It's a must read!

2. “Girl, Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis. LIFE. CHANGING. I honestly am only about halfway through this book and it is so eye opening. When you hear people telling you that you NEED to read this.. they are not kidding! Go buy it now!

3. “The Girl’s Guide: Getting The Hang of Your Whole Complicated, Unpredictable, Impossibly Amazing Life” by Melissa Kirsch. Such an informative, reassuring book. It speaks from things such as health & body image to money & finance to dating, sex & romance. You can pick up wherever you leave off or even just read whatever topics sound interesting to you or that you would like to learn more about.

New Books I Have Bought To Read:

1. “Own Your Everyday : Overcome the Pressure to Prove & Show Up For What You Were Made to Do” by Jordan Lee Dooley. I just got this book in the mail today! Found it on Amazon for super cheap - only for like $12! A fellow gal pal on Insta shared it & I was super interested in it as soon as I seen it & ordered it the next day hahah. I recommend checking it out if you haven't heard of it yet.

2. "You Will Be Mine" written by Natasha Preston. I LOOOVE her books! I have read "The Cellar" & also "Awake" by her in the past and as soon as I started reading them I was hooked and couldn't put the book down. They are definitely a suspense/mystery kind of read but sososo good.

Books On My Radar:

1. “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis. This is the second book that kind of goes along with "Girl, Wash Your Face". I have heard such amazing things about her first book & the same about this one. Super excited to finish reading "Girl, Wash Your Face" so I can get my hands on this one soon!

2 . "The Blue Bistro" written by Elin Hilderbrand. My mom just bought this book the other week & is planning on reading it first but I plan on reading it after her. It's kind of a funny story.. my mom & I were at the book store together and looking for a certain book.. turns out we were looking for the same author/books!! Hahaha, she had read a blog post about Elin Hilderbrand's books & actually another girl I talk to on Insta had shared one that she loved and I was trying to find it! Needless to say it sounds super good & like the perfect summer read.

3. “You Do You: How to be Who You Are & Use What You’ve Got to Get What You Want” by Sarah Knight. Actually seen this under the "recommended"section on Amazon when I bought " Own Your Everyday". I read up on it & what it was about and instantly wrote it down in my planner of books to read. Will be hopefully ordering soon!

Sooo.. I could go on forever but I think that this is a good start for all of us! I hope that I have shared a new book to you that sounds interesting & like the perfect Summer read! If any of you plan on reading these or are reading the same book as me please let me know - I would love to chat about it! If you have any other recommendations please share in the comments below so that we can all check them out!

Until next time,
